1. Who we are

This website is operated by Tailored WebCYte, based in Paphos, Cyprus.

You can contact us at info@tailoredwebcyte.com.

2. Scope of these terms

These Terms of Service apply to your use of this website and to enquiries submitted through the website, email, WhatsApp or the project questionnaire.

They also outline the general conditions that may apply when Tailored WebCYte provides web design, web development, consulting, strategy, page architecture, copy support or related digital services.

Specific project conditions, deliverables, fees and timelines may be defined in a separate proposal, written agreement, invoice, service package or project brief. If there is a conflict between these general Terms and a signed project agreement, the signed project agreement will normally prevail.

3. Services

Tailored WebCYte may provide bespoke website design, custom page layouts, WordPress implementation, HTML/CSS builds, website strategy, UX structure, visual direction, SEO-ready markup and related digital consulting.

Services are tailored to the project scope agreed with the client. Unless expressly stated in writing, services do not include ongoing maintenance, hosting, paid advertising, legal review, tax advice, advanced SEO campaigns, copywriting beyond the agreed scope or third-party software subscriptions.

4. Enquiries and proposals

Submitting a questionnaire, sending an email or contacting Tailored WebCYte does not automatically create a service contract.

A project normally begins only when scope, deliverables, pricing and payment terms have been accepted in writing and any required deposit or first payment has been received.

Proposals, estimates and availability are subject to change until formally accepted.

5. Client responsibilities

To deliver the project correctly, the client is responsible for providing accurate information, timely feedback and any required materials.

  • Providing brand assets, images, copy, credentials or business information when required.
  • Ensuring that supplied content is accurate, lawful and does not infringe third-party rights.
  • Reviewing drafts, layouts, text, links, forms and functionality before approval.
  • Responding within reasonable timelines so that the project can progress.
  • Making agreed payments according to the project terms.

6. Fees and payment

Fees are agreed according to the service package, proposal or custom project scope.

Unless otherwise agreed, a deposit or upfront payment may be required before work begins. Remaining balances may be due at agreed milestones, before delivery, before launch or according to the invoice terms.

Late payments may delay delivery, publication, transfer of files or continuation of work. Tailored WebCYte may pause work until overdue amounts are settled.

Any taxes, bank charges, payment processing fees or third-party costs may be charged separately where applicable.

7. Timelines

Project timelines depend on scope, availability, client feedback, content delivery and technical requirements.

Estimated timelines are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed unless expressly confirmed in writing. Delays in client feedback, missing content, late payments or third-party issues may extend the delivery schedule.

8. Revisions and approvals

The number and type of revisions included in a project depend on the agreed scope or package.

Revision requests should be specific, consolidated and submitted within the agreed review period. Additional revisions, major changes of direction or requests outside the original scope may require extra fees and additional time.

Once a design, page, section or project stage is approved, further changes may be treated as additional work.

9. Content and assets

The client is responsible for ensuring that any text, images, video, logos, fonts, brand materials, product information or other assets supplied to Tailored WebCYte are accurate and properly licensed.

Tailored WebCYte may use stock assets, AI-assisted assets, design references, fonts, plugins or third-party resources only where appropriate for the project and subject to their respective licences.

10. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the client receives the right to use the final approved website deliverables after full payment has been received.

Tailored WebCYte may retain rights in underlying methods, reusable code patterns, design systems, templates, internal processes, know-how, drafts, unused concepts and working files.

Third-party assets remain subject to the licences and terms of their respective providers.

11. Portfolio use

Unless the client requests confidentiality in writing, Tailored WebCYte may reference completed work in its portfolio, case studies, website, social media or promotional material.

Sensitive business information will not be intentionally disclosed without permission.

12. Third-party services

Projects may rely on third-party tools or services such as hosting providers, WordPress, plugins, analytics tools, forms, email platforms, payment systems, fonts, stock libraries, scheduling tools or integrations.

Tailored WebCYte is not responsible for downtime, pricing changes, policy changes, security incidents, limitations or failures caused by third-party providers.

The client may be responsible for maintaining accounts, subscriptions, licences and access credentials for third-party tools.

13. Hosting, domains and maintenance

Unless expressly included in the agreed scope, hosting, domain registration, server management, website maintenance, plugin updates, backups, security monitoring and ongoing support are not included after delivery.

If Tailored WebCYte provides support after launch, the conditions, timing and fees will be agreed separately.

14. Cancellation and refunds

Cancellation terms depend on the project stage and the agreement in place.

Deposits, strategy work, design work, development work, consulting sessions and custom deliverables may be non-refundable once work has begun, unless otherwise agreed or required by applicable law.

If a project is cancelled after work has started, Tailored WebCYte may charge for work completed, time allocated, third-party costs and any agreed non-refundable amounts.

15. Consumer rights

If you are acting as a consumer, you may have mandatory rights under applicable consumer protection law. Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Where services are customised, digital, already started with your consent or delivered according to a bespoke brief, cancellation and withdrawal rights may be limited depending on applicable law and the specific circumstances.

If you are acting for a business, company, professional practice or commercial project, certain consumer protections may not apply.

16. Liability

Tailored WebCYte aims to provide services with care, clarity and professional attention. However, no website can be guaranteed to produce specific commercial results, traffic levels, rankings, leads, sales or revenue.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tailored WebCYte is not liable for indirect loss, loss of profit, loss of business, loss of data, reputational damage or issues caused by third-party platforms, hosting, plugins, client changes or external services.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where it cannot legally be excluded.

17. Privacy and cookies

Personal data is handled according to our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

You can review them here: Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

18. Governing law

These Terms are intended to be governed by the laws of Cyprus, unless mandatory rules in your country of residence or applicable consumer law provide otherwise.

Any dispute should first be addressed by contacting Tailored WebCYte so that a practical resolution can be attempted.
